Is it advisable to use a handheld portable satellite radio to listen in the car with the FM transmitter?
All units Specific work better with this method? What equipment carrier is best for this, XM or Sirius? Stick with jumper cables and wharves along the way? What are the configuration details?
It was convenient for me - the antenna on my car above the rear fender, and the FM transmitter was not sufficiently strong enough to transmit that far. It was a little generic Belkin FM transmitter. He needed to launch an extension of my headphone MP3 player for the backseat of car, then place the transmitter near the antenna of the car. Like cables running, it meant that I had to take additional steps to turn the transmitter and change position if there was interference. Not a good solution. I recommend an adapter that goes from XM for a tape that can be placed in the car (or get a new stereo inputs MP3/XM).
