Should I use oil or acrylic paint on an acoustic guitar?
PS: No matter the sound of the guitar was sanded, and have handbook I mix wood with paint thinner and sand in the face. I hope this painting will now join). But until very late unglossy acrylic. I I spray lacquer acrylic .. can be proved for a pint cos they do not. Will light up? Or should I use oil paint? Is it better? It will be more sustainable? Confused person who needs emergency aid, the advantages and disadvantages of acrylic and oil .. Never heard of Tho painted guitar. Help!
I would like to use turpentine and pass the guitar in which you want to paint. Use a wad of steel wool very fine and give it a good cleaning. Remove one of the other things you can wear. Oil paint is thinned with turpentine would be great for kids with a guitar. If you need to dry May quickly you want to use a medium that dries faster than oils. Let the paint dry in a well lit. Do not keep not in the dark. After the paint is dry, check with some thin layers of non-yellowing varnish. Good luck and sent me! I to see the pictures!
